Liter of Light

Liter of Light is a global grassroots initiative that provides high-quality solar lighting to individuals with limited or no access to power using affordable, widely available materials. Their volunteers teach poor communities how to light their homes, businesses, and streets with recycled plastic bottles and locally obtained materials. They've placed over 350,000 bottle lights in over 15 countries and taught green skills to boost local entrepreneurs at each stop.

This organization has four lighting solutions. One of those is Street Light. It is a single device that can light up to 50 square meters of outdoor space. It is powered by a three-year deep-cycle lead-acid battery. It has a solar panel that generates 10 watts and can endure powerful typhoons.

Gifted people are distributed throughout the world and their ideas are not just astounding but also groundbreaking and helpful for people who need them. They continuously inspire people to do and be good. Liter of Light is a proponent of hope. They are not afraid to challenge change and be a part of it. Furthermore, they reached several communities that are overwhelmed with problems and their ideas lit the way. Reaching out to the disadvantaged will go a long way toward creating a healthy community.

Experiencing this in our country, the dimmed streets and dark alleys, it is time for our country to take inspiration from the Liter of Light. If this organization can make a move and reach thousands of people, so can we. Ignited by a vision of an illuminated and safe environment, this will be our motivation to step in and act. There are several households we need to shed light on. Our hearts and minds are here. It is time for a brighter future.
